Cooper: 15 months old

I have been behind with my updates on the boys. I blogged almost monthly on Porter when he was an infant and todder but I hardly have time with Cooper. Well, such is the life for the 2nd born! Cooper is all boy and toddler. He is not into cuddling and hugs. He likes to be a busy boy. He started walking at 11 months and running soon after. He now loves to climb on everything. He can push chairs and stools around the house to get up on tables and countertops. I find him sitting on our kitchen table if I leave the room. He really likes to sit at the table in a big chair but he is so messy I still have him use his highchair. He is much more verbal than Porter was at 15 months. His first word was "hee-haw" then followed by "uh-oh", "dada", "mama", "milk", "binky ", and "ducky". He uses the word "baba" and points for everything else but he definitely knows what he wants. He goes to the refrigerator when he wants milk. He points to his binky when he wants it. He also points outside when he wants to go feed the ducks which he loves to do. He enjoys reading books. He goes to his little "library" in the kitchen and picks one book at a time to read. This is one of his favorite activities with Daddy. He likes to point to all of the animals. He also loves to play chase and "dinosaur" which is essentially chasing the boys around the house and "roaring"! He LOVES his big brother. He wants all of his toys. If Porter is playing with his dinoasaurs, he will wait for him to leave for a minute and then he will go grab one of them and run away. He likes the thrill of the chase from Porter even though it often ends up with him losing his toy and getting hit (which Porter gets in trouble for of course). He really dose adore Porter. They take baths together which doesn't always go well especially when Porter wants to line up his animals on the bath tub but Cooper knocks them down. He is stocky. He has quite a belly. He still wears 12 month clothes but is almost in 18 month. He still loves to eat but is starting to become a picky eater. I still think he consumes more calories than Porter (which isn't hard since Porter eats like a bird)! His favorite foods are bananas, pears, milk, chicken, and dethawed frozen blueberries! For some reason he likes them better than fresh which seems odd. After he eats them he looks like a baby vampire with the blueberry juice running down his face :) He is sweet as can be but starting to show signs of the "terrible twos"! He wants his opinion heard and sometimes stomps his feet in order to get it. He is also a huge fan of daddy - just like his big brother! If Trevor is home then no one can take Cooper away from him including me! His smile can melt your heart. We love him to pieces! I will post pictures very soon!
