Portland Baby Shower and Week 32 OB visit
I am very spoiled and had another shower at my friend Lauren's house in Portland. There were several friends from PA school and some friends from Gonzaga as well. It was a relaxing afternoon with amazing food. Thank you Lauren! I also had my week 32 OB visit last week, nothing new there. Everything is going well. Trevor and I are in thanksgiving mode since we're having my family and some friends over for turkey day. Our two fridges are packed and pratically bursting open. It will be way too much food. I bought the largest turkey I could find at Costco . . . 27 lbs!!! I have not been able to find any good pictures to post recently, I think I'm in denial with how large I am:)

Seattle Baby Shower
I had my first baby shower in Seattle this weekend. My college friends, Tam and Megan, hosted it together. It was so fun to see so many good friends and family. I got completely spoiled with gifts. The nursery is certainly getting filled, and soon baby gear will be spilling out of it into the rest of the house (Trevor is not excited about this, oh well). On Sunday I had a lazy morning and brunch at Tam's before heading back. I made a quick shopping trip to the U. Village, Christmas has definitely arrived at the mall. Shopping isn't quite as much fun since I can't fit into anything cute and I'm over buying maternity clothes. I made a trip to Costco to start getting ready for Thanksgiving as well.

New Dining Room and Week 30 Belly Shots
Well, the belly is getting big. I actually look chubby all over in this picture, hopefully it's just the light, ha! Trevor was busy with painting the dining room this week. We initially picked out an orange which looked like 'hunter/fluorescent orange' -- it was ugly! We couldn't even stand to be in the room. He re-primed it and now it is a softer orange which looks nice with our pictures and wall hangings. I'm still getting used to it since all of our paint is neutral in the house. I'm looking forward to my shower in Seattle this weekend where I'll get to see alot of friends, mostly from college and high school. Thanksgiving is right around the corner so we're busy getting organized for my family to come visit. We made four loaves of pumpkin bread last night.

30 Week OB Visit
Time is flying by. I can't believe that I'm at 30 weeks already. I'm still feeling great but I'm definitely getting bigger by the day. I'm getting more short of breath with simple things like walking up stairs. Some of my maternity clothes are even starting to feel too tight! Everything was fine at my OB check. I was tested for gestational diabetes which was negative. Trevor was finally able to make it to his first OB visit. He's been to the ultrasound of course. I've gained 20 pounds so far which is crazy with ten weeks still to go. This is all still normal weight gain for how far along I am. The baby's heart beat is great, about 150 beats/minute, and it is moving around all the time. The baby moves alot at night and after eating. I can see kicks with just watching my abdomen move as well. Hopefully things will keep going well, we have seven weeks until the baby is full-term! We now have OB visits every two weeks instead of monthly. In other news we are painting our dining room a tuscan orange which is a bold move from our neutral colors throughout the house. We tried three different colors all which are bright and bold. Trevor is taping the dining room today. I certainly hope we like it because it's going to be a big change! We're hoping to warm up this room, we'll see how it goes!

Trick or Treat
We had a fun Halloween at our friends' house. They live in a neighborhood filled with Halloween parties and trick-or-treaters, much unlike ours. We have not had one trick-or-treater in 4 years but we're always ready with candy just in case! Billy did not attend the party but we always enjoy dressing him up, he doesn't mind it too much either. Next year we'll have our own baby to torment with ridiculous costumes which will be fun. I finally got the crock pot to make some soup, they are so easy I think it will become more regular this fall and winter. Perhaps Trevor will even learn how to use it but that may be wishful thinking . . .
