Cooper Patrick Tredennick has arrived!!! He was born 10 days early on 11/28/11 weighing 7lbs 2 oz, 21 inches long. I started having contractions about 10 minutes apart starting around noon on Monday. This is after my step aerobics class and 3 dental appts! Trevor and I headed down to Vancouver/Portland so I could go to Costco and he could pick up his mom from the airport. The contractions continued 10 minutes apart until 5pm when they started progressing to 5 minutes apart. We left for the hospital at 6pm and got all checked in. I was already 8cm! Within an hour I was complete and we waited for the nurse anesthetist to arrive. I was too late for an epidural so I got an intrathecal which isn't quite the same but much better than nothing. Cooper was born at 8:16pm, healthy as can be! We stayed two nights in the hospital and have returned home to introduce big brother to Cooper. He is somewhat interested in the baby but more interested in playing! Here are a few pics of our new addition:

22 Months Old!
We are creeping up on two years old! I really can't believe it except for his daily two-year old tantrums! He continues to love to read. I think he could sit on the couch all day long and read. He now likes to have a pillow behind him and a blanket on his lap. He loves to make animal noises that he sees on each page. He could read the same book ten times in a row! We definitely cannot, some of the kid books are pretty boring!
The funniest story that the daycare gal at my gym told me was that he was faking injury such as falling off of the chair or falling down in front of her and starting to cry. She said it wasn't his usual cry and when she went to him he started to smile and give her a big hug. She said he would do this when she was holding a baby and she thought he was jealous. Apparently he did this several times on Monday -- the little stinker! He obviously is pretty excited to be a big brother!
I don't think we have had any major new milestones this month but here are some of his favorites:
- He loves to make animal noises. He can point out a horse and cow and make "neighs" and "moos" as we pass them. We are still working on saying the animal names. He also points them out in books!
- He loves to be chased! This can by on foot or on bike but it's a good time for all.
- He wants to discipline Billy, even when he is doing nothing wrong. He likes to tell him "no" and point to his kennel. I guess he hears that from us, whoops!
- He is a very picky eater. He eats only a few things which seems to change by the week. He has been into yogurt and applesauce for a few weeks and he only wants to eat them at every meal.
- Words. He has alot of words and 1-2 word phrases but he still is not talking. He reverts to baby babble when he has something important to say! He also is now saying "dah" and pointing to everything he wants. He does repeat things for us once we say it several times.

Mt. Hood Condo
Trevor and I recently purchased a condo up at Mt. Hood. It was a great deal, a condo in foreclosure! We have spent the past two months cleaning, shopping, painting and fixing it up! We have it finally posted on VRBO to use as a vacation rental as well. Here is the link:

Halloween Pictures 2011
We had a great Halloween this year. Porter was a cow and loved his costume! Trevor and I dressed like Juno, the movie. I was Juno and Trevor was Pauli Bleaker. We went to a friends' house for a party and did a little trick-or-treating! Porter got the hang of it after a few houses.
