Chase Video
We play alot of chase in our house. Porter loves to ride his cars and Cooper now enjoys being a part of the action!
November Pictures III
We took the boys sledding last weekend at Mt. Hood. Porter was pretty unsure of the snow but reluctantly tried it. Cooper seemed to enjoy himself and he was even laughing and smiling at times. We are hoping that Porter starts to enjoy sledding more this season so that we can try skiing!

Cooper: 11 months old
We are getting very close to have a one-year old!!! He is now eleven months and very much a toddler! He is cruising and has started taking steps. He took five steps today. He prefers to cruise and crawl but he is getting more sturdy on his cute little feet! He continues to eat everything he can get his hands on (including non-food items!). He loves pears, veggie burgers, waffles, bread, black beans, and cheese. He still eats some baby food but we both prefer finger foods. I have enjoyed having time for meal prep rather than feeding him. He still eats applesauce and yogurt. We are trying one cup a day of whole milk which seems to be going well. He continues to be a great sleeper except for vacations when he is a terrible sleeper. He is a happy boy and loves to smile. He loves to meet new friends and anyone who will talk to him. His favorite person in the world is his big brother Porter! He adores everything about Porter (the fascination unfortunately is not mutual!). He says "dada" and "hee-haw" but he reallhy does not know what he is saying. I'm sure he will want to say "mama" as his first real word:) He also got to take his first trip to Hawaii!!! He absolutely loved it and is ready to return!

Maui Trip 2012
We had a wonderful time in Maui! We went for a one-week vacation for a CME conference for me. The weather was 85 sunny and beautiful everyday! We stayed in a big resort which had a great pool, lazy river and beautifully landscaped grounds. The boys loved swimming in the pool each day and Porter enjoyed exploring the grounds which were like a park. He kept saying that he wanted to "go exploring"! We tried to take them to the beach but Porter wanted nothing to do with the sand which was odd. The beaches were beautiful and the sand was very soft but he preferred to walk on the rocky beach and play in the pool. Oh well, maybe next time. Cooper loved the water. We bought him an infant raft so he could float around the pool with us and we didn't have to hold him the entire time. The boys loved their week with Mormor who joined us on the week in paradise! It was sad to leave but we would love to return again.
