We had a fun vacation in San Diego! We left Wednesday evening after work. The boys did great on the flight down until . . . they asked us to shut down our electronic devices for landing. When we turned off the Ipad Porter proceeded to have a screaming fit for 20 minutes until we landed. He had done so well until then but it was pretty embarassing! Luckily we did not know anyone on the flight. We stayed at a great hotel on Pacific Beach for five nights with Mor mor, Trevor's mother. I was hoping for sun-filled vacation but it was unfortunately overcast every day. Apparently the "May gray, June gloom" phrase also applies to April, who knew? We were able to go running on the boardwalk each morning. Trevor either joined me or went surfing. He could surf right in front of our hotel. Mor mor and Porter would enjoy adventure walks or playing on the beach. We visited the zoo, Balboa Park, and SeaWorld. The pool was too chilly but Porter loved the hot tub! We made our breakfasts and lunches in the hotel but we went out for some great dinners! Even though the weather was disappointing we still had a great time! The boys both had a great flight home. It was our first successful plane ride since Porter was 9 months old and we were long overdue! All-in-all it was a fun and fairly easy vacation with two kiddos. With the help of Susan we had a relaxing vacation and definitely plan to make it back there soon. We will find a different time of year though so we can get some sunshine as well:)

The pictures turned out great! Given their ages I think they did a wonderful job. We even got a few cute family photos:)
