Cooper: 18 months
Cooper is a busy little boy. He has a lot of words such as mama, dada, ducky, puppy, kitty cat, billy, bye-bye, toes, milk, nana aka banana, binky, and a few more I can't think of. He can climb anything in our house including standing on top of the kitchen counters by pushing the stools to position himself better. He loves to eat and he will eat almost anything in front of him. The daycare ladies always mention how much he loves mealtimes! At least one of my children likes to eat. Cooper also loves to read. He goes to the large overstuffed moose in Porter's room waiting for a book. It's pretty adorable. We just broke him of his binky habit four days ago and he's doing great. My next project is to move them into the same room. He loves to smile, laugh and occasionally bite/nibble!
We are very blessed. They are happy and healthy little boys. They definitely have their moody moments but don't we all!?
Porter: Almost 3 1/2 years old
Porter is now full of questions. He can speak in full sentences, say the alphabet and count to 20 in English and Spanish! He usually misses a few numbers in Spanish but he's pretty darn good. His diet is pretty poor - he does not eat many vegetables, just avocados. He loves bananas. I buy almost 20 bananas a week and we go through all of them. He loves chicken nuggets and mac-and-cheese but he does not get those much. He is still working on staying dry at naps and bedtime. He moved himself to a full-size bed but now we're back in the tent. I think he sleeps better in it. He graduated from preschool tonight. He went to Sonshine preschool and I loved all of the teachers. Unfortunately his graduation was short-lived because he could not stand still on the stage and sing the songs. He still is passionate about his dinosaurs.
Well child exams: Porter 3 yrs and Cooper 18 months
While Trevor is in Maui I took both boys in for their well-child exams. They were a handful! I think going to the clinic was very exciting because Porter was extremely hyper as well.
Porter's stats: Height 100 cm (70th percentile), weight 14.5 kg/32 lbs (50th percentile), and BMI 14 (10th percentile).
Cooper's stats: Height 82.5 cm (50th percentile), weight 10.5 kg/23 lbs (20th percentile), and head circumference 47 cm (25th percentile).
I was most surprised that Porter was 50th percentile for weight since he is so skinny and Cooper is only 20th percentile and he looks like he has a huge belly. Regardless, the boys are growing well, meeting their milestones and very healthy!!!
